These pieces of Gary Andrew Clarke's work are also painted on wooden panels using Acrylic paints and are to the dimensions of 40.5cm x 30.5cm.
The work of Gary Andrew Clarke has influenced my hard-edge painting and my focus to use geometric shapes and flat fields of colour as a method to express the sense of depth, movement and architecture within a piece/s. I have also related to the absence of any narrative and meaning within his pieces as I also try to convey my ideas through an abstract style that requires an audience to determine their own understanding.

Example of my work inspired by Gary Andrew Clarke's Practice.
